7th annual Derby Day and Running of the Weiners!

Proceeds benefit The Humane Society and Miami Valley Pit Crew!
- 12-1:45 Weiner Race Registration (Tito’s tent next to Toxic Brew) $25 registration fee
- 2pm Weiner Dog Races on our specially made tracks right down 5th street!
- 3pm Costume contest for our four legged friends!!
- 4pm Derby Fashion Show by Clash Dayton, Greta Grenadine and various other local designers!
- 5pm Hot Dog eating contest by Blind Dogs!
Vendors will be setup throughout the district from 12-6pm, check them out as you hit our brick and mortars! (This includes us! (
The Oregon district’s establishments will have specialty drinks featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka! For every specialty drink purchase from participating bars, $1 per drink will be donated to this year’s featured charities! Make sure to ask for a DORA cup so you walk around the district and sip on a special beverage!
This event is well behaved dog and family friendly, free to the public and perfect for your first block party of the year!

The Oregon District’s Out On 5th is a series of block party events focused on providing the community with free, family-friendly entertainment everyone can enjoy.
We encourage everyone from all around to come downtown and find their new favorite local spot. With over 40 locally-owned and operated retailers, restaurants, nightlife, professional, entrepreneurial, and artisan businesses… The Oregon District has plenty for everyone!
Parking Your Vehicle, If You Have One, Is Easy…
Free parking is available throughout the area on Wayne Ave., Fourth St., Hugo St., Walnut St., and Jackson St. — and we encourage Uber and Lyft drop offs at either Wayne/Fifth or Patterson/Fifth for easy access! There is also a large parking garage near The Neon Theater with optional low-cost, easy access to the district!
