Welcome to 2026 at Drunken Duck Farm

Happy 2026, friends. We hope the new year has found you steady on your feet, warm in your boots, and looking ahead with a bit of hope.

The year has already begun at a full waddle here at Drunken Duck Farm. Winter may slow the fields, but it never truly quiets the work. Over the past few weeks, we’ve welcomed new feathered residents to the sanctuary, taken stock of the year behind us, and begun laying the groundwork for what we’ll be growing in 2026 for our spice blends and teas. Planning season is equal parts notebooks, seed catalogs, and daydreams of what’s to come.

Behind the Barn Door: A Shop Update

Behind the scenes, our online store is currently taking a short pause for maintenance. We’re working through inventory, refining pricing, and implementing new procedures that will help us get your orders out more efficiently, all while preserving the homegrown freshness and small-batch care that define our teas and blends. Think of it as a winter tune-up before the growing season begins in earnest.

Life in the Sanctuary

The sanctuary side of the farm is getting some attention as well. We’re updating adoption information, refreshing animal care resources, and improving our Sponsor-a-Resident program to make it easier for supporters to connect with and care for the animals who call this place home. These updates matter deeply to us, because the sanctuary is not a side project. It’s the heart of everything we do.

Winter at a Full Waddle

As winter unfolds, we’ll also be sharing more of the quieter stories from the farm. Expect reflections from cold mornings and muddy afternoons, thoughtful breakdowns of what’s happening in agricultural news and why it matters to you, even if your farming experience doesn’t extend beyond a very opinionated goose, and a closer look at how we plan, plant, and grow the herbs, flowers, and produce that become your favorite blends.

Come Grow With Us in 2026

We invite you to follow along as the year takes shape. Like, comment, share our social media posts, and join us on this 2026 journey. We’re excited to show you how our blends come to life, why and where you can find them, and how every jar supports the animals who make this farm what it is.

Here’s to a fresh year, deep roots, and good things growing.

With gratitude and muddy boots,
Bryna (Owner & Founder), Nugget the Frizzle (pictured) our newest resident, and all of our two- and four-footed (and feathered) residents at Drunken Duck Farm
