Lughnasadh, also known as Lammas in some traditions, celebrates the first harvest of the season. It is a time to focus on gratitude for what has grown, the rewards of hard work, skill, sacrifice, and abundance. Lugh, the harvest, grain, agricultural deities, and the fruits of one’s labor are traditionally honored.
